Bo Hilton
For many years Bo made a living out of tonal painting. Influenced by the artist Ken Howard, with whom he worked , as well as the paintings of his Mother, the artist Rose Hilton,
and artists like Bonnard and Vuillard.
Despite this he never lost his love of abstraction. He returned to it in the 2000s and then again in 2016 when he moved from Bath to Penzance
Now based back in Bath, Bo works primarily with colour, exploring colour-field painting and memories of the landscape.
